The Torrance County Summer Internship Program allows students (ages 14 to 18) to gain valuable work experience, explore possible career options and add a little money to their bank account, by working with area businesses.

• Recommendation Letter

Application Deadline:  June 1, 2023

Start Date:  June 12, 2023

Hours:  Schedule will be set with the internship site and include 2 hours of workshops, plus 18 hours of work per week for 8 weeks.

Compensation:  $12.50 per hour

Program Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a student at one of the following schools:
  • Moriarty-Edgewood Schools
  • Estancia Schools
  • Mountainair Schools
  • EVCA Schools
• Must be 14 to 18 years old.
• Must be able to get to and from their internship site.
• Must follow all the guidelines of the program and the work site.
• Participants under the age of 16 MUST obtain a work permit to participate.
